Description

Supportanfrage

  • [ACALTB-673] - Create and embed component documentation generated from plugin description

Hallo Florian,

dazu noch eine Frage von unserem Trainer:
"Maybe you could also ask in this context whether it is now official terminology to call streaming services (sources/sinks) also “filter”. Like it is done in that chapter."

Grüße,
Anja

Hallo Anja,

Maybe you could also ask in this context whether it is now official terminology to call streaming services (sources/sinks) also “filter”. Like it is done in that chapter.

Basically they are because after integration of Streaming Services they are from the same base.
But due that are differing regarding trigger pipe and initialization, we still should use following terminology:
  • Feed data in ADTF -> Streaming Source
  • Data leave from ADTF -> Streaming Sink
  • Data generating/processing -> Filter

-> The page is wrong
