What is still the same

From the main page (Wiki) you might know that you have easy access to our Download archive and latest versions.

What we have changed

We already provided the current ADTF 3.x documentation in this project.
Now we added the documentation of all ADTF products and libraries and extend the overview with links to the corresponding download section and the dependency information.
This will provide you a perfect overview and fast access.

What is completely new

There are a lot of information which cannot be added to documentation and is not part of issues.
So we try to give you some hints and information to help and link to.
This is our first version of FAQ's

Please keep in mind that this is a BETA delivery but please give us feedback regarding functionality and documentation !

Compatible ADTF 3.2.0 version for Ubuntu 16.04 aarch64 / ARMv8a (nVidia Jetson TX2 Board) as headless delivery, so without any GUI components (e.g. ADTF Configuration Editor, ADTF GUI Control, XSystem)

ADTF 2.x series are about to be discontinued at 2021-12-31 at latest. We encourage ADTF users to migrate ADTF 2.x projects to ADTF 3.x, which is the replacement for ADTF 2.x.

Important Notes:

• All ADTF 2.x licenses will be extended without due date
• License holder (like VW Konzern) will still be able to use ADTF 2.x after EOL, "only" maintainance, bugfixes or support will end

We have had some issue with the delivery of news notification emails. It is possible that some news notifications did not get through to you. If you have the feeling that you missed some announcements, please have a look into the news section of our Community Center.

The issues have been solved by now, upcoming releases will be announced by our Community Center as usual. We are very sorry for any inconvenience we have caused!

• Due to incompatible changes on RPC within ADTF 3.1.0 it is not possible to use RPC to communicate to/from older components, e.g. ADTF Control 3.0.x or ADTF 3 Support TB 2.0.0 (please be patient for upcoming ADTF 2 Support TB 3.0.0)
• The batch/shell scripts for the tools are not necessary anymore, feel free to use the executables itself

The ADTF File Library will replace the ADTF Streaming Library and is published under Open Source Lizenz ADPL v1.0 and will be delivered only as source code:

• a_util Library as zip archive (git clone including “master” and branch “release/a_util-0.1.0-for-ifhd”)
• adtf_file Library as zip archive (git clone including “master” and branch “release/adtf_file-0.1.0”)

The ADTF File Library can read/write ADTF 2 (dat) and ADTF 3 (adtfdat) files.
